All purchases from Board Game Central are made on the following terms and conditions.

If you have not otherwise agreed to these terms, confirming your order with Board Game Central will indicate acceptance of these terms and conditions.

All listed prices are subject to change without notice. Board Game Central reserves the right to charge the listed price in effect on the day that an order has been made.

Board Game Central will not be held responsible for any delays incurred by our suppliers; however we will endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. Board Game Central will not be held liable for orders for discontinued lines if we have not been correctly informed by our suppliers that a product is no longer available.

Board Game Central only ships to Australian and New Zealand addresses from Victoria.

Board Game Central insures and tracks all products sent either by Courier or by Australia Post.  Board Game Central determines what service is appropriate for your item to be shipped.  The Courier service requires a signature upon delivery.  Where Business addresses are not available for shipment, and if address is unattended for acceptance of the item, Direct Freight Couriers will leave a card of attempted delivery where the purchaser can call and reschedule delivery.

Most orders are received within 3-6 business days, once payment has cleared - depending on availability and location of shipment

Board Game Central takes extra care to ensure that your item arrives to you in a safe and timely manner.

If you need your order before a certain date, please contact us and we will be more than happy to give you an accurate estimated arrival time.

It is important to note that your order will NOT be processed until payment has been cleared.

If an item is out of stock our staff will contact you immediately and payment will not be processed until items are ready for dispatch and shipment.

Free Shipping - Regional outer metro areas excluded and incur shipping charges

Our jumbo chess range incurs shipping charges regional postcodes  to the following states: WA, QLD, NT and TAS  customers will be notified the  cost of shipping prior to order being processed.

Return Policy

Due to the fragile nature of our products, Board Game Central uses either Australia Post or a courier service for the method of delivery, unless otherwise negotiated. It is in our best interest that your order is delivered as quickly and safely as possible, for this reason Board Game Central insures all packages and tracks them using Registered Post. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged during transit, you must contact us within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving your item. This urgency is crucial to ensure that a claim can be made against the delivery company for compensation of the damage incurred. It is important to note that in this situation that the manufacturer, supplier or reseller, (Board Game Central) are not responsible for any damages incurred during transit. However, it is in Board Game Centrals best interests to ensure that any damages incurred during transit are rectified immediately with the delivery company. It is your responsibility to examine your product(s) immediately after receiving them. If you fail to contact us within the specified time period (24 hours), it will be assumed that you have accepted the item in an undamaged state and Board Game Central shall not be liable to pay for or replace that item.

If a product is found to be DOA (‘Dead on Arrival’), (that is, not damaged during transit) we must be notified within twenty-four hours (24 hours) of you receiving your product. In this situation, it remains your responsibility to return the product back to Board Game Central, with consent from Board Game Central. The product must include all original packaging and be in an unused condition to be accepted for inspection. The return of the product will be at your own cost, and must (unless otherwise negotiated with Board Game Central) be sent with an Australia Post money order for the same value at which it cost to send back. Once we receive the ‘faulty product’ we will inspect and determine whether or not the product has a manufacturers defect. If the product is found to be faulty, a replacement of the exact same product will be dispatched immediately. If for any reason that is uncontrollable by Board Game Central, that a product is no longer available, a new product may be negotiated to the same value as the original purchase. If the product is not found to be faulty, the product will be sent back to you immediately.  Failure to notify Board Game Central within this period is considered that the buyer has accepted the item.

Our items are photographed professionally and are a depiction of the actual item.  Timber colors can however vary depending on lighting and as items are made by natural timbers, colors and shades of timber colors can vary.   Board Game central does not accept refunds or exchanges on items based on the above natural timber variances.

It is the buyer's responsibility to select items carefully as Board Game Central do not exchange or refund for change of mind for non-faulty or non-damaged items.

Change of mind

All products are backed up by their own manufacturer’s warranties. Although Board Game Central does not actually provide the warranty, we endeavour to help our customers with any warranty issues that may arise. It is important to know that Board Game Central is not an authorised repair agent. In many cases, manufacturers may repair at their own factory, or have a select few authorised repair agents. In any case, Board Game Central is happy to help, and when required, will find out and pass on instructions from the manufacturer as to where, when and if a product can be repaired. The cost of shipping to an authorised repair agent, and return shipping will be at your expense.

If for any reason you do not follow your obligations under this agreement, Board Game Central will no longer be liable for any damages, losses, expenses or claims made against Board Game Central.

It remains the right of Board Game Central to change these terms and conditions at any time, without notice.
